I've just created a blog called Donate Real Estate.
In the current market property prices are falling faster than fair market value. Especially if someone needs to move a property quickly--the liklihood of a severe haircut is very substantial. Therefor, there is a good case to be made for making property donations at fair market value rather than suffer the haircut.
